Founder & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Sallie is a founding director of Clifton Hill Physio Pilates & Rehab is a highly experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Associate Professor at the Latrobe Sports and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. She is internationally recognised as a leading clinician, researcher and educator in the diagnosis and management of anterior knee pain. Sallie also has a particular interest in spinal pain and has post-graduate qualifications in Manipulative Physiotherapy. In addition, she has many years of experience working with sporting teams and athletes.
Sallie is a senior research fellow at the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre. She is a passionate advocate for women in sport and her research focuses on preventing serious knee injuries and treatment options for early-onset knee and hip arthritis. Sallie has over 70 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored seven book chapters on anterior knee pain and one on core stability including every edition of the most popular sports medicine text of all time, Brukner and Khan Sports Medicine.
